The show organizers asked us to hang out by our cars for a little while each day. I plan on being there each night betwen 5-8 p.m. If anyone is at the show definitely swing by and say hello.

Sure hope everyone got over to the SCCA room (Moscone South Hall).
Although my Subie isn't in the show, my Impala is (part of the SCCA Solo2 Display). And yes, it has an I-club sticker on it
. Also, I had to paint the front wheel bearing dust caps (which are highly visible with the race wheels on it, and looked like crap before) on Friday night so I used the touch-up paint I had available...
...you guessed it, SUBARU Platinum Silver Metallic
And yes, it is one wierd-as-heck sensation to be in an ELEVATOR while in your car!
Oh yeah : Chris Warner, they used the picture of Les Brown's Impala (which is also in the show) for his display where you are taking a course ride in the BACK seat of the Boat
Small Picture Gallery from move-in on Sat morning......yes, that is my WRX visible parked on the street (had to get back home somehow, so had a buddy follow me up in the WRX!) in this picture.

Ed, I have no idea how you got the Impala in there.
To get it in there, had to do a few things :
1. Be sure there was nothing parked on the curb behind the elevator, so I could get a STRAIGHT shot off Folsom street and into the elevator. This involved getting a semi that was parked on the curb to move out of the way.
2. Fold in the side-view mirrors (Les didn't and said his Impala cleared the elevator door by about 1 INCH on each side)
3. Make the Elevator operator remove her chair from the Elevator (car is almost 18 ft long, and elevator interior was about 19.5 ft long).
So yeah, it was close. But to be honest, the storage unit I normally park the Impala in isn't much wider (probably 1 ft wider at the door) and is actually SHORTER (only about 18.5 ft) compared to that elevator. Needless to say, getting the WRX into or out of the storage unit is about an order of magnitude easier than doing so with the BeaSSt
