Parts Install...

I was wondering if anyone in the Bay Area has or knows of a shop that would install some parts for me, preferably this Friday or Saturday would be awesome. My tech friend over at Livermore Subaru isn't able to do side jobs anymore so he can't do them for me.

I have 6 parts that need to be installed: an STI oil pan, STI oil pump, upgraded oil pickup tube, walbro fuel pump, equal length header, corresponding uppipe for the new header.

Please let me know what ya got!

Oh, and of course I would be paying you or whoever installs the parts for me.

Thanks!

I hit up SpeedElement in Fremont today, they are all booked until next week =[. GST is more than likely to be booked. IDK if I wanna drive all the way out there but if I need to I will. Never been to EQ Tuning before so it'll be cool

There are people telling me that my EL header is a "plug and play" so I won't need a retune but then I figured since it's also a modification I would need a retune.

I'm switching to E85 conversion soon, so maybe I'll wait to spend the $400 to get it retuned...that sound right?

I would wait and do everything at once, save yourself the time and money of having to do it twice.

You'll need injectors too before you can make the switch over to E85.

Yeah, that would definitely save me so much time and money to have my girl re-tuned.

So for the E85 conversion on my stock td04 turbo (i was going to upgrade to evo3 big 16G turbo, but not anymore since im going E85), all I need now is 850CC injectors (http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/...roducts_id=128) <-- does it matter if its from the WRX or the STI section as long as they're 850CC?

This is the E85 kit I was thinking about ordering, since my brother in law owns evasivemotorsports, he can give me a discount on some stuff

Where did you guys get your E85 kits from?

I didn't order any kit for my STI. Just walbro 255 fuel pump, 1300cc injectors, and a tune. I did do a few other things at the same time, but those are the key components needed.

I did the larger injectors in planning for a ATP 3071 or 3076 turbo upgrade in the new future. This way all I will really need to do is the turbo and an intercooler and I am set.

That was my planning in conjuction with talking with Ed and Brendan at EQ about what I wanted to do and when.

If you change your mind about the turbo, I'll be taking mine off pretty soon. FP Evo III 16g. 750 topfeeds and some other stuff too

I'll wait for the email back from Ed over at EQ before I make a decision to purchase the larger injectors to see what he thinks.
