I got a 2000 forster. its my moms, but she is going to be in germany with my sister for a few years, because her husband got shipped out, so iam going to be using her car here. So iam going to sell my wrx, and build something else and wont have a car payment.

Actually, due to the differences in track width, and therefore distance between strut towers, the strut bars are not interchangable between the sedan and wagon.
But apparently the strut towers are in the same locations, so the strut towers ARE in the same places. SO. I am now left wondering where the extra track width of the sedan comes from....

dont know were the extra track with is, but do know that the strut and sway bars are the same for wagon or sedan. even my tein suspension is for the sedan, but works perfect on my wagon. just about everything is exchangeable on the sedan and wagon, except body kits and lips( stuff like that).
