parking cars
what's wrong with people:
1) who can't park
2) who hits other peoples car while parking
3) gets caught, and still denies hitting the car while my car alarm is still screaming
is it just a bay area thing?
please change title to "parking cars"

It seems to be getting worse. My WRX has been hit 5 times so far and noone has ever left a note. The last 'ding' ripped a hole in the rear bumper and moved the car 6 feet sideways. Noone can tell me they didn't notice doing that.

yeah, this was actually a "customer" of where i work. He dented the hood on my car and continues to claim that "oh it's nothing...it was already there"
good thing my shock sensor was turned all the way up, and i was nearby. Last time this happened at work, my whole fender had to be replaced, almost clipped my v7 jdm headlights. I hate ****ers that hit and run.

people are idiots. I want to start a website where you can order stickers that say...
"If you can't park it don't drive it" with like a big middle finger on it.
Slap that sucker on their window.
Shoot when I had my civic I was at a coffee shop and heard my alarm going off. Was sitting outside. I stood up and watched a car pull away from my door and drive away. I jumped up and ran across the parking lot and cut them off at the pass. The chick claimed she didn't hit it. Then claimed she didn't know. Then said o.k. can we do no insurance. Exchanged info. I got a bunch of quotes and called her with a bill. Then she went by bye. Lived with her folks. I just kept calling. Her dad picked up once and went off on me. I said hey man she hit my car. He said she said she didn't... etc etc. I told him to meet me in the parking lot and if I couldn't convince him in 10 seconds he could leave. I convinced him. We parted ways for $900 instead of the $1300 I wanted. Then I got Tboned and that lady's insurance fixed it.
I used the $900 for performance parts.

one time in a parking lot i was waiting for a girl leave in her tC, and next to her car was my friend's car. she opened her big *** door and tap on my friend's car. i knew it hit it because i saw and i heard it, but i didnt think it would be a big dent because it was a very small tap.
as she drive out i rolled downed my window and said, you should be careful with the door because its big and you just hit that car next to you. she start yelling at me and said NO i did not hit it. i was like i saw you i was right behind you waiting the whole time. then she goes is that your car? i told her it was my friends car, and she said it with an attitude, mind you own business and drove off!
i was so pissed off, if i knew she was like that i would got off the car and went confirm her right away. the dent on my friend's car was really tiny but it was bigger than i thought. if i knew it was that big i wouldn't have let her leave.

I got hit two weeks ago in a parking lot...and I parked way the hell out in the middle of nowhere. I came back to a cracked tail light, scrapes on my bumper and two nice deep gouges in my rear quarter. That is exactly why I put 3000 miles a year on that car. I hate going anywhere that I have to park it. I just drive my truck...and that has too many dents to even count now, from the same BS. :damnit:

yeah. when i got my car, it had the "upgraded alarm system" option added to it. it was basically a shock sensor on top of the "remote keyless entry" unit they have on most subarus.
just saw ur 2nd post. yeah the sensitivity on it is adjustable, i was surprised when i found out it could be adjusted too. haha

The shock sensors on my Subie were horrible... there were a few in random places and my friends knew exactly where they were and they always set off my alarm...
