Another good run, if brief.

Take Niles Canyon (SR 84) east from Fremont or west from Sunol. Palomares is on the North side of the road, maybe about 3 miles from the intersection of Niles and Mission Blvd in Fremont.

Palomares is a fast road, once through the first 2 miles of 20mph (signed warnings) corners. Climbing the grade headed north will see full use of tachometer in 2nd, and then on the straights I saw 5500 in 3rd a few blasts.
Once you come through the canyon, you end up at highway 580 just a mile or so east of Castro Valley.....near Rowell Ranch (if your're into rodeos and bull-riding and that sort of thing......)
