ok so i wanna paint my rims. its 5zn from 5zigen. the problems im havin is its a greyish color with a chrome lip... and i dont know if i wanna go with an all gold look or gold with chrome/polish lip. I also have alot of curb marks... any idea on how to get the curb marks to go away faster then sanding it all down?
my rims look like this:

 

dupli color gold 500' engine paint resist chipping and cracking as it says. thats what i used and only have scrathes from mount balancing.

keep the chrome lip, its too nice to paint over

 

haha but the thing about the lip is there are alot of curb marks/ clear coat chips... how do i go about that.. i also wanna paint by 5ZR pink to match the rear emblem i have...

yes it is... the guy i bought it from had a cgm sti that i thought was a psm... very easy to get a mixup under color condition... but hard to tell the difference yea? so what color to paint the side skirts..

 

any other opinion before i deicde at 2-3 oclock...

 

i say sell em and get new wheels! but if not...i think bronze and polished lip would look cool. dont see that too often.
ps. paint your sideskirts! hahahaha and paint your lip to match your car...that would bother the hell out of me if it was on my car. the oem color code for psm is "01G"

no..very easy to tell the difference. Paint both the lip and the skirts the correct color..PSM

I painted mine bronze.

 

what kind of bronze is that? might be a lil to brownish for me... i want more of a bronze that will still shine and have a hint of gold
