Painted side skirts -- East Bay

Anyone know of a good place to paint side skirts in the East Bay around Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore/San Ramon?

I had one place quote me way too much at $300 in Dublin (Dublin Auo Body), and another $150 in Livermore (California Customs), but I don't know if they're any good. both said they can't guarantee it, though, as they might chip. It that true? If that's the case, should I just buy painted OEM ones? Thanks.

I got my skirts paint WRB at Masters in hayward for $50 durring a group buy, I think they charge $100 normally? Not sure you'd have to call them up.

No, actually it started in the middle of my car being worked on at the beginning of May. I was shown the work of the shop so I would feel comfortable with the work being done. Then when I called to see when to pick up my car I was told "by the way the shop is under new management so your car is being painted by the new owner."

Anyone wanting to take their car to this shop for work should take a look at mine first. If you can deal with this caliber of work, go for it.

Eh... I am reluctant to comment since anything I said would just be my opinion and I believe the work on my car could be an isolated incident.

I will say that a few other people have seen the work done to my car and so far everyone has come up with their own comments about it. None of them have been anywhere close to good. The amount of things wrong with the work are mostly what prevented me from asking them to do it over. The guy was nice enough to cover up the places where the primer showed through before I left though.

If you do end up going there, I suggest you remove them and bring them in as nothing on my car was removed for painting, and the masking was rediculous (there is blue and clear paint on every piece of rubber and trim, and they painted over my AWD sticker).

Painted Side Skirts -- East Bay

So Masters is to be avoided then? How much did everyone pay to have their side skirts painted -- at creative or elsewhere? Anyone know of a group painting event coming up (I've seen them posted before)? Thanks.

masters isn't so bad for painting side skirts.
My skirts were painted there and hold up very well and the color matches.
Couple people didn't like their yellow skirts though on the last group buy, and I think there was a blue 99 RS that had an off blue and didn't like the color match.

here is a pic of one side of my car after I tossed my car to a dirty mountain side:

I just got a deal on some silver STi side skirts for cheaper than getting them painted at the prices I was quoted. There are a few nicks/scratches in them, though. Will the rgular Subaru paint I have work for them, or since they are plastic (?) do I need paint with a flex additive so it won't flake off?
