painted side skirts
hey for all of you who had your side skirts painted, how well is the paint holding up? i went to a bodyshop today and asked them to paint my side skirt, but they said that they wouldn't recommend it, because the paint would chip real easy, and it would be a pain in the *** to have it repainted every couple months.

goten: I got the same story from a bunch of body shops before finding out about Creative Kustoms in SJ. I took my sideskirts there, they painted them for a very reasonable price ($160) and the paint is holding up perfectly. The reason the paint stays on is because they properly prepped the sideskirts prior to painting.
I could not be happier with the work that Creative Kustoms did.

hahaha j/k
i had hokusai paint my side skirts awhile back and its still holding strong, even after tahoe, and some bad roads.
I painted my own and they are totally exceeding my expectations in quality and durability (I've never used spray paint in my life btw)
However the Creative Kustoms deal was totally off the hook, considering it takes a good 70 bucks plus 4-5 hours min to DIY

Couldn't agree more. George and Liz are super nice and did an awesome job on the only Sedona Red skirts to come through their shop! The paint matches perfectly, which is better than I can say about the body work I had done at some place here in Petaluma, and I haven't had a single scratch or crack since I had them done in early January.
