So, why did you buy a silver car if you wanted white or orange?!?

Honestly, a really good paint job on your car is going to run around $6 to 7k. Especially a color change because now you have door jambs, hood jams, and trunk jams to deal with.

Oh, and welcome to I-Club!

we work closely with a local paint shop....they do amazing work.

FYI- $5k would be way to low if you are looking to change the color of the car, think more $7-8k

let me know

lol that sounds like a down payment on a new car to me...or a house

and dont bother with the jambs. As long as you dont pose your car at HIN with your lambo doors up nobody will notice/care. You can be the cool guy with orange car and silver jambs

we'll call you jambsta

Unless I missed something in those three Abnormal Psychopathology classes I had to take as an undergrad and grad student, I'm pretty sure that a strong desire to paint your vehicle is not a symptom of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Either way, welcome.

Hey I just wanted to give you some advice cause I was in a situation like you, broke and trying to do some mods.

The thing I learned is that unless you REALLY know what you're doing - a lot of mods will look tacky and stupid even though you thought they would look great.

For example I tried doing some cool LED lighting, painting some interior trim. At that time I had no experience painting and everything turned out looking cheap. My car ended up looking worse and worse, ghetto-er and gheto-er lol.

word. do it right the first time around. you're gonna save money and a lot of headaches. spend your money on gas and drive the car for what it is and appreciate how awesome it already is in stock form. highschool is stupid anyways no one is gonna remember you as the guy who won best car award. theyll probably just be like ..."oh you're the dude with that orange car?" do the mods for yourself and no one else cause at the end of the day you're the one driving it daily spending the most time with it.

wait, so painting your interior trim white and tweety-bird yellow is ghetto?
