for overbear...
a number of months back, at the UCKK meet, you and sandra were having a discussion about an award given out in japan - in this case, in the automotive industry.
sandra said that there is an award for quality and excellence, but that she could not recall whom it was named after.
you kept yelling out that it was Henry Ford. she disagreed, but you persisted.
well... here is the proof to back up her statement.

so, anytime you want, feel free to admit that she was right and that you were wrong.

If however I did do as you say, then there might have been confusion on my part and of course I would apologize over it.

well yes, i understand that. but i have a hard time believing a Japanese award is going to be named after an American Auto maker. maybe the first japanese automaker would have that award named after him, but competition is competition. American vs. Japanese has been going for days, not only with cars either.

But as I said, there is no award call the Henry Ford...at least not that I know of.

The Japanese don't think quite like that. Its hard for me to put in words as I myself only barely understand the Japanese mindset. They view things like competition, work ideals, and even innovation in a far different way than we Americans do.
