out in Korea! interesting

I saw a r33 gtr vspec and Silvia s15 on the street.. I'm guessing they've imported from Japan for a fraction of the price?

I would be curious what the laws of importing those cars into Korea would be. From what I know, putting any aftermarket parts on vehicles, is extremely regulated... A GTR or Silvia would have to be bone stock at that point

I would like to know the law here as well.. from what I heard from my cousin, from here to Japan is only a few hours boat ride so I'm guessing importing cars from Japan would be a fraction of the cost of bringing these into the states. What's amazing is that they do 5% tint on front windshields lol on hyundais and kias.

In terms of the gtr and s15, they were far from stock.. I didn't realize s15s were so small, about the size of a dc integra

most "tuner" cars I see in korea are just regular cars with fart can exhausts and stickers.

I have the feeling that in larger cities (such as Seoul or Busan), really all you're going to see is Public transportation, taxi's and KPOP-star Celebrity Vans. Probably a lot different in smaller towns.
Also, like any other Asian country, you're going to see far more motorcycles than cars. Unlike here in the states, aftermarket tuning on Motorcycles is also very much regulated.

This is no joke. I can't stand when they park outside my building in their blue bongo trucks. Since I can't understand most of what they are saying, it just sounds like old war propaganda audio.
