I haven't done my taxes, yet. Haven't even started. Am I the worst procrastinator in the world (or at least in the Bay Area), or are others in the same boat?

Im in a submarine looking for alll the paperwork so someone else can prepare this wonderfull mess of finance. And you have competition for procrastination

Joke:
There was a self-help group for procrastinators. I showed up to check it out. As soon as I showed up to get help, I decided to come back later......

I owe Uncle Sam $105. Not bad considering I was pretty mad that prior to the tax prep, I was preparing to fork over $300-$400.

That's not bad - I think I may owe as much as an additional $12,000 or so...I'm really unhappy

I filed my Federal, and am getting back an obscene amount of money thanks to the Lifetime Learning Credit, but I still haven't done my state yet. They owe me money too.

I drove up to Carson City one weekend, hung out with my bf's dad and family friend, got my taxes done by said family friend, ate good food, and hauled down a bunch of my bf's stuff to take with me to Germany for him. Over all, this has been a very easy (yet) fun tax prep year.

Did the quick math back in early Feb.....figured out approx how much I owe (to state) and am getting back (fed).......decided that since I really didn't feel like giving an interest-free loan to the state, I'd go ahead and wait

Got to do them this week, shouldn't take more than 2 hours or so (if that).....

Finished mine. Let's just say I'm pleasantly suprised from my first year owning a house. I'm thinking about paying off my fiance's truck so we have one less payment... we'll see. It might have to get split up... my car has been whispering about suspension...
