if you didnt notice, the concrete barrier was the only thing that kept that one spectator from becoming an Enzo hood ornament

On the news this morning they had a clip saying the crash might be a hoax. perhaps to promote the movie. I didn't see the full clip of it, i just heard the "cut to commercial" teaser.

Yes, in the same manner that "guns are dangerous" when fired without checking where they are pointing first. Rocks are dangerous when thrown hard into a crowd. Phones can be dangerous when combined with cars.

Course design my ***!!!!! Every course has to have barriers, and you arent supposed to hit them. If he had had some professional driving instruction before driving a RACECAR, he would have known to never feed a push, which was what killed the car. Also, if he had gone two feet in (brake and clutch) as soon as he blew through that cone, he would have minimized the damage for sure. Looks like those cerametalic brakes were working fine after the crash.

Please boycott the movie Redline, as I said before, they have killed 2 Carrera GT's, and now one of 349 Enzo's

Redline FTL!!!!
and you know any accidents or street races during the month after the release will be blamed on the movie and then insurance will go up like gas prices.

why the hell would they let him drive the car in the first place?? they couldn't afford a stunt driver that knows how to control a car.
its obvious that he has no idea what hes doing with a car that has power like that.
what a waste of a good car.

You highlight Teemu Selanne and not Sergei Federov...

I have a little more respect for Joe Cole now other than being a stellar midfielder.

Eh? The point is the course design did not need to have barriers SO CLOSE with no run off area. The point is not that the barriers shouldn't have been there at all, the point is the barriers should have been far enough away to allow more run off. ESPECIALLY when you're gonna have a hot head amateur driving a mega buck race car. I would have thought this point was obvious.

Hoax? I don't think so. Either Eddie is a really good driver who knows how to emulate a bad crash a lame driver would do (look at his car control); or he's just a lame driver.

Ockham's razor says he's just lame.

If we could come together to save just one of these beautiful machines, wouldn't it be worth it?
