While we are on the subject, this is the most awesome Celica I have ever seen. My favourite Celica body ever made as well.. This thing is perfect (but I would prefer it in charcoal grey). Cleanest swap ever, F20C powered screamer...

Wow that's nice! Has anyone seen the Starlet with the S2000 motor by Modified Toys, I think. That was a clean one too. If I can only win the Mega millions
Old Toys.
Reminds me of the first ever car I modded. 82 Corolla 4 door sedan (known as DX to those that came from PI)
4A-GE
TRD Cams and Pistons
Twin 45 DCOE Carbs, didn't know how EFI worked back then
locally made "tosco" style header
Pure JDM. Made to look like a Japanese Spec Corolla GT Twin Cam. I think Filipinos actually started the JDM trend. Ever since the 70's we always made our cars look like "japanese versions" Gino "drift king" knows what I'm talking about

You can still change it. There probably is more carbed 4age's out there than not if the car is modified.

Here's the only pic I have of my '79 Corona back in the PI. No engine mods except for an aftermarket air filter, suspension mods were KYB gas struts (back then ,that was a mod!), Nodalo's header/exhaust system.
Yup, just as 2cam said.
Back in the 80's, nobody dared touch EFI wiring so the fastest way to get a 4AG running was to get an intake manifold made and run dual Webers. Besides, at that time, there was a racing class in Japan which was called N2 where 4AGs were running with twin side draft carbs, so everyone simply followed what the Japanese were doing.
I myself ran japan spec N2 TRD cams and psitons. The cam profile was so aggresive on those cams that fuel injection would not work anyways.
