Haha Airsoft!....I used to have a H&K MP5K w/"T" front grip, back when I was in grade school....spring loaded, with plastic pellets or BBs that were loaded into little plastic shells....that thing was fun....

I remember when in middle school, a couple of my friends and I decided to prank a real estate agent who was holding an open house down the street. My friends ran into the house screaming and hid in the master bedroom....I followed a couple minutes later with a ski mask and fatigues (I was 5'10'' in 7th grade), holding the MP5K airsoft. I walked in, scared the isht outta the realtor (told him to get the *** on the ground, toss away his cellphone, and remain silent, ASAP!), and chased my friends out of the house screaming!

Ah, school daze...

Now my arsenal includes:

Walther P88 9mm (one of the finest, most accurate, and yet least known full-size 9mm autos)
Walther P99 .40 - Swiss made - perfect
Walther PPS - .380 Auto - Stainless
HK Mark 23 - .45 - perfect
HK SP89 - Semi-auto version of MP5K
Colt AR-15 Carbine
Colt AR-15 HBAR
Steyr Aug Bullpup - 9mm Conversion - Green
Steyr Aug Bullpup - Std. .223 w/Swarovsky scope - Black

wait til you actually shoot a real p90.

cool thing about it is that the ammo loads into the magazine perpendicular to the barrel. but as it loads into the action, the bullet then rotates 90 degrees...

and the auto... wow. too bad my source ran out of the special ammo for it...

btw, nothing like a 50 cal for hunting and personal protection... (from a hard target that is... )

maybe it's time for a BAIC shooting nite a local range...

This is why I favor gun control as I define it. Gun control means tracking individual weapons, but gun RESTRICTION means controlling who can own which weapons. That kinda annoys me. I don't have much sympathy for the NRA guys who cry over having their assault rifles banned, but firearms in general are never more hazardous than the hands holding them.

you know a few years ago, kalifornia did this. SKS owners had to "register" their rifle. then next thing you know, kalifornia wanted them and confiscated them...

who are we to know, what types of weapons the gov will want next?

instead of gun control, i want more crime control.

what good is firearm tracking when the criminal has already commited the crime?

say the bad guy broke into your house and does steal a gun of yours? even if ballistic fingerprinting does work, all the cops know is WHO legally bought the gun?

remember, any tool can be misused... current kalifornia politicians want to punish law abiding citizens by not having a weapon to protect themselves.

For my buddy's bachelor party, he didn't want to do the cliche' stripper thing, so a bunch of us went up to another friends 55 acre ranch for the weekend and shot guns and drank beer. Not a good combination, I know. But another one of our friends brought up his entire gun colection:
.357mag, .44mag, Auto Shotguns with skeet shooters, Colt .45., and countless collectors gun. Also busted out his deer rifles. .227, 30od6, 30/30. Man those deer rifles are loud.

I am looking into buying a shotgun and a either a Glock .40 or Glock 9mm this summer. Lets go shooting.

Against what?

Im all for sportsman related gun ownership, but guns in the house end up killing more people who live in that house than saving people from "home invasions"

Stick with the sportsman stuff...

let's substitute GUNS for CARS in your statement...

we dont need cars that go over the speed limit. they kill more people than slow cars.

we dont need WRXs that can go over 65 MPH.

stick with yugos...

I'm all for gun control as long as law enforcement is going to make a real concerted effort to remove the guns from people w/ criminal record, no matter how minor the record. If we can take away a car from a reckless driver how come we can't take a gun away from a reckless user? All this talk makes me want to go shooting!

I live in California, and I generally do not agree with their gun policies. What I support is a system for enabling crimes committed with weapons to be more easily solved and creating more accountability for those who fail to keep their firearms from falling into criminal hands (or those of children and teenagers). Also, I don't have a problem with banning PORTABLE automatic weapons. The only reason for carrying one of those is for when you absolutely positively MUST kill every mother@#%^er in the room! Non-portables though, like the M2 and the BMG... well, you don't exactly carry one of those around to steal people's wallets. Furthermore, the protection from home invasion thing is way overrated. Far more people shoot their friends, spouses, and children by accident than actually stop a robbery. Now, I don't believe weapons should be removed from the home, but that's not really an argument against it.
