Optima Dealers in Bay Area?

So the time has come, my battery is truly dead, even after a trickle charge. I just put the key in a few minutes ago and even the start up sequence with the gauges doesn't happen.

Anybody know of an Optima Dealer or vendor in the Bay Area / San Jose area that carries them on a regular basis?

Any info would be appreciated.

Pep boys...

You could always go on their site and look for local vendors.

Do you need your hand held with everything you do?

I already went to the website, closest vendor they have is: Tracy. Hence, the reason I ask here.

I guess I was at the wrong site, lol. I just checked again and there is a close by one.

And yes, Al, hold my hand.

Go to Winchester Auto, they have one there. Walk over, then just buy it... problem solved. Thank me later.

Yeah, he doesn't drive the STi enough for a Braille, unless he invests on a charger.

I tried all the vendors within 10 miles and none of them had it or they had to special order it. I even went to Costco, still no deal. Looks like I'll be getting it from an online vendor.

Just special order it from Winchester and avoid shipping fees. You're welcome.

I just called them, the earliest they can call their warehouse is Monday, and it takes 2 to 3 days, and he couldn't give me an exact price. He said 170 or 180 + tax + core charge, so around $210, give or take 10. About the same if I order from Amazon or something.

Try some other Costcos. I think I saw a bunch of them in San Leandro Costco, however, I didn't really pay attention on prices or sizes. Good luck!

Not sure if you've tried Odyssey Batteries but just as good as Optimas.

Then why not order from them if it'd be the same from Amazon? At least, it won't be a guessing game as to where the one from Amazon is actually coming from. Plus, Winchester's warehouse is in Fremont, if I recall. Prices on those batteries must've gone up since I last bought mine from them then, I don't think I spent near or over $100, then again it was only a red top. Oh wells, best of luck on which ever route you go with. Just wouldn't wanna see another botched eBay-like purchase.

Probably the cheapest. It used to be cheaper than this when I bought mine. Like $99.99
