Opinions On which of my DP's To use

I have two Perrin Down pipes, one two piece dual cat and one no cat. What one of the two would you run? Have AP, have full 3" cbe. Just curious as to which one others would choose and why?

Depends on what you want. Catted downpipes are technically legal and are usually quieter then catless ones so you wont get hassled for loud exhaust as much. I personally run catless on my STI.

Almost everyone will most likely tell you to run catless, but it's you taking the risk.

I have always run catted, but my cat recently failed, so it was hollowed out and am currently running catless until I find a proper replacement. The sound is great, but I really don't like the stink of catless, plus it's just rude to the people behind you. I honestly can't wait until I get an operational cat back on my car.

And TurnWRX is right, no aftermarket DP is legal on our cars.

This. Both catted and catless aftermarket downpipes are illegal in California

I like catted because one its quieter, usually a more refined sounded coming out (less chance of rasp), no need to worry about cops smelling you unless you're flooring it, lastly IF you happen to get pulled over, you can say. Oh well I know I have cats.

I'm currently running the catted one. I wanted to get others opinions about the cat-less. I wouldn't mind rocking the cat-less for the sound for a bit. Ultimately i am going to end up cannibalizing the cat-less dp when i do my ewg setup and have it plumbed back into the dp. Then i wonder if a bell mouth dp would be better to use in a ewg setup vs a dp with a "divorced" setup.

you won't know what your missing till you try it out!! when I first bought my car it only had a catback setup. the moment I pulled away from the shop with the catless dp I was thrilled with the difference.
