Yea... hippos are NOT nice creatures, pound for pound they are one of the most deadly creatures on earth. Their bite strength alone can snap a human spine like a twig, that croc had ZERO chance.
If you look close, in one of the pictures you can see one hippo's bottom tooth, nearly 12" long and 4" thick, is half buried in the croc's throat.
