Is being 2 hours early. Wow, this sucks. Last time I take advice from a girl as to when I should leave the house.

haha, my lady keeps telling be we gotta get to the airport two hours before our flight to NY in a couple of weeks. I keep telling her it's not necessary.

 

I'm at SFO and I'm going to NY. Trust me, this is unnecessary.

 

I prefer to sit around and wait vs. **** happens and you have to rush.

 

I've done both. 45-60 min is bearable. 2 hours just craps the bed.

you could do 30-45 minutes before a flight on a thursday night...

yea, 30-60 minutes is nice. 60+ minutes you just run out of things to do. i was 2+ hours early when i flew to asia. i ended up watching one episode of top gear and went around the airport taking pics.

 

I always do about 45min-1hr... Nothing more. I used to work in the airport.

I love the San Jose airport. I can still get from the parking lot, on to the plane in 15 minutes

My favorite time at the airport was when the announcer mentioned the "Fright to Ras Vegas"

 

Getting to the airport early is not too bad IMO - get in before the security lines pile up at SFO, head to Gordon Biersch and have a few before the flight! Always makes the trip a bit easier...

 

I agree 2hr is a bit over kill; I usually get there 1hr and some change ahead of time. I like being at the airport. I dunno why other people hate it.
