Online traffic school

got my 1st speed ticket in 6 years (while I was driving my friends civic back from Vegas 85mph in a 70 zone). I elected to do traffic school, but on the form the court sent me it has no mention of online traffic school...
anyone done online traffic school or know anything about it?

they should have a list of websites that you can complete your traffic school at. if not ask the court because alot of ppl just dont have the time to sit in a classroom or whatever for the entire day and listen to some idiot tell you what is right and wrong....when i did a whole day traffic school sorta felt like those AA meetings you see in the movies - "know what did you do wrong and what can we do to help now?"

online traffic school is very easy...i just did mine and it took like 20 min to finish hahaha..if you need websites let me know...

Depends which jurisdiction your ticket is. Some courts don't allow online traffic school. You need to call the court to find out.

I know that San Mateo county allows online traffic school without a written test. I believe that would be Redwood City and South San Francisco Divisions of the CHP.

Its pretty much the same for every county. You still have to take a written exam after finishing online course.

Thanks guys, I called the court and I can do online!!!! which is great and means I don't have to waste a sat being one of "those"people...
I realize now, that you can go to an online traffic school web site and they will tell you if it is approved for your area...

My wife finished a course a few weeks ago at webtrafficschool.com for the South San Francisco Division with only the online part. Received the certificate of completion is a couple of days. Turned it into the court and everything was done.

if it's available go for it.

Make sure you check to see if they submit your completion form for you or if you have to print it out and send it yourself. Some do some don't.

I did it...was better than sitting in class sweating all day. Cause you can do it from work or what not and you don't have to do it all at once. You can do like a little here a little there....etc.

You do have to take a test at the end but it's NOT written. It's just a read then click the answer type of deal. If you fail you can retake it until you get it right.

Pay the extra couple dollars and do it if you can.

I'm taking the online traffic school for the second time right now. At least I've been able to stretch out the time between tickets so I can take Traffic school. The ones I have done have a online test and they send you a certificate when you are done.
