Whoa, I remember that pic on NASIOC and thinking "I'm not driving my OBS hard enough." Great pic sighborg! I went from GF48 to GGA, but would also love to have a RBP EJ20 GF.

On another note, I would say I'm a mid-schooler.

What's amaziung about that photo shoot was that it's almost, ALMOST, everyone in the BAIC at the time. That's like, 70% of the club members. When was that shoot, Late Spring/Early Summer 2001 right? I remember it being just before hamilton, or just after.

man... the first hamilton meet. I wasn't there either, i wasn't even driivng yet. but i remember that thread/pics/stories...

this place has changed a lot in the 3 years i've been around.

making 200 crank hp was diffucult in N/A trim.

a turbo RS was godly

Bill and Chris installfests on saturdays

weekly lunch meet at Mcarthy Ranch

WRX being in america... never though it would happen...

Leda Coilovers

Morette headlights

STi anything was hard to get, and was generally pricey (it was cheaper before my time in the club, but when i joined the prices where premium)

I remember that Deck! Alex and I installed my springs in my GC8 on that deck. But i seem to remember being under it finding parts that dropped through the cracks, then actual labor on the car

Yea those were the days... When you could only get Speedline and the UK BBS wheels in the US cuz no one else made crazy subaru offsets. And the only place online that sold subaru was SPD in socal. Byron claimed he had the Fastest GC on the planet. I sold Chris his first S-AFC, look at him now and Brucelee WAS the king of hamilton...Now he's mah b!tch

____________

The GC8 will always be a Classic Import. It was the originator of a generation. As the Impreza evolves, (with the EVO arch rival) It'll all comes back to the GC8... when Mitsu got SPANKED in the WRC  The 22B is the 'Mclarren F1' in my heart.
