I was going 70mph on the freeway...pathetic, i know.

I had a nice laugh, the cop asked me if i have any modificationd done to the car, and i replied "no. want me to pop my hood?" and he said yes so i just popped the latch from inside the car. and the cop spent a good 3 minutes trying to open my hood lol so i had to step out and help him

im sure you can fight it and save ya money as you were not displaying "excessive speed" and can go with something like following flow of traffic etc i forgot but do some research im sure you can get away with it

anything under 10mph above speed limit can be fought. If the judge is willing, just go in and plead guilty, and then ask for a reduction in fine. The judge should let you off with a lower fine, or slash it all together.

That's rediculous. Do trial by declaration via mail. Don't waste your time going to court. Seriously, how was traffic at that time? As long as you weren't only one doing 70s while others doing 40-50s, you should be able to win this.

Did he cite you for exceeding posted limits, or for the catch all Basic Speed Law? The last 2 numbers on the CVC would be "49" or "50".
