The last time I saw gas at .99 was in 1999. in hayward at the A st ARCO.

So, if we hit those levels, I will pretty shocked.

Really?

Cause I worked at a gas station in 97 and I remember clearly when they hit 1.99 because that's all the stations pump could handle so we were selling all 3 grades for 1.99. Supreme ran out really quickly. Everyone in there mother was getting full service supreme. Lazy bastards.

I don't remember it coming down to much after that. Could be wrong of course but I honestly don't remember 0.99 gas since I was too young to drive.

Yeah. When I got the subie in 2001 I remember driving to SJSU in the fall and paying about $1.65 for gas at the 76 in fremont across from Frys.

East bay prices may have been really good at those times compared to other locations. It's must closer today though.

87 is 1.61 at costco in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. That's pretty damn crazy.

Lol, something similar happened to a friend, but it was when gas was really expensive.

$1.92 for premium in Fremont at the Vallero on Mission blvd.

It's such a great feeling to know that you can fill your car up for less then $30!!!

I was pretty much out of gas, I filled in 14.8 gallons (Isnt the capacity 14.9? or is it 15.9?).

Only thing that sucks is that the prices wont stay like this It's like the first time you have an orgasm, you have to have one every single day of your remaining life... Like opening Pandora's box!

*crosses my fingers that it stays fairly low*

The $5 a gallon crap was whack! All because those speculating IDIOTS that basically screwed EVERYONE from commuters, to airplanes, to everything... Prices of food inceased because the gas was so expensive... It was insane! Not only did our prices skyrocket, but well over a million jobs were lost in this year alone. That totally affected our country as a whole. EVERYONE was affected.

I don't understand... How was he able to fill up for $1.42? Something to do with reward points I take it? I'm not really familiar with that which is why I'm asking.
