It's just the beginning

I saw the movie, but I wasn't expecting a "blow you away" movie. I think from a director's perspective, since it will be a series of three movies (2 more after this), they will build it from this point to climaxing the story as it progresses. The 1st Spiderman movie wasn't that great either, until the 2nd when things got a bit more interesting, and so will the 3rd Spiderman.

I guess it's a way for audience keep them on their toes, especially having that kid in the picture. That made it a bit more interesting and I'm looking forward to see what the kid is capable of in the next few years as it releases.

For those that thinks that this movie was a waste, sounded like they've given up. But I highly doubt you'd miss out on the 2nd or the 3rd movie.

I liked it. It wasnt great, like Spiderman or the first 2 X-men movies, but it was good enough to watch on the big screen.

The sequel will be interesting...

Liked it...

I liked it. It wasn't just a man of steel beating the crap out of everything movie. It showed us a more personal side of Superman and his....feelings (trying not to sound too gay). That's what made it interesting though. I think that's why Spider-man, X-men (one and two only), and the first and last Batman flicks did well. Or rather, why I liked them. They were more of a complete movie, than your average bang up action flick. I can see why this didn't go over so well with the younger audiences (the kids that liked Fantastic 4).

It was long, but I didn't get bored.

could've been worse.....you coulda made a bigger waste of 2.5 hours and watched a Kings or Warriors game!

seriously though, i haven't seen Superman yet, but I've heard from a few friends that it was actually pretty good......different strokes for different folks, i guess.

One of the worst movies I've seen in ages. I love superhero movies, spiderman, x-men, unbreakable etc..but this was cr@p...boring and badly written...and the new superman is weedy and creepy.

I just watched this last night from Netflix......what a waste of time.
