And yet people think its cool to do other things to peoples cars. A crime is a crime and this is a example of where it can go. First its a sticker, then its moving the car a few spots over, then its screwing with the motor.

Applying a sticker is one thing. Tampering with something that can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage is quite another.
