Old says "nice car"
I'm loading my kids in the WRX and come around to get into the driver's door and an old Caucasian lady (like 80+) is sitting in a old Honda waiting. She pokes her head out and goes, "nice car!".
I was so shocked and didn't know what to make of it so I just smiled, nodded and mouthed a thanks. Then got in and drove away. There was no one else in the parking lot at that time.
Your guesses? Where do you think she was coming from? Old school rally fan?

i was at wheelworks in santa cruz and an old guy (60s probably) was talking to a worker about what tires for his old bucket mistubishi suv, and in the middle of the conversation, stopped and did a walk around my car, bent over and touched my tire tread (star specs), and then asked "what kind of car is this?"
i said 'its a subaru'...he looked back at my car and just went "hmm" and then turned back and finished talking about tires for his car...
i thought that was pretty weird haha, but my car is badgeless so that probably threw him off...
