Don't know what they are doing for October fest but it is a legit German style beer garden type place:
Gourmet Haus Staudt
Gourmet Haus Staudt
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

Gordon Biersch does one with some special edition brews. Last time I went it was decent with some good live music. They actual brewmasters were the ones pouring too.

The one in Campbell is ok. 2 years ago it was sweeeeeet, they actually brought in kegs of real German Oktoberfest beer...last year all they had were SammyA and Gordon Biersch Octoberfest brews...
Don't get me wrong, it was tasty beer but it was nowhere near as good as 2010.
Also Redwood City has their 'fest the same weekend, should be better according to knowledgable sources...
