What you say is average miles per year doesn't be anything if you are trading in or leasing. Dealers use 12K miles/year to factor trade in value, and leasing is usually
limited to 10K/year (which is also why I don't lease).
So to whomever buys this car, good luck, and keep telling yourself you got a really
good deal on a really fast car!

who says it's one year old? I have an 04 and it's 2 years old.
In the bay area...that's reasonable.
Some folks are able to put less than 10k on their cars...good for them. But there are TONS of us....shoot..most people I know that put upwards of 20,000 a year on their car. I know for a fact some i-clubers are up closer to 30,000 and a couple are higher.
if the car was purchased in august or earlier it's 2 years old...that's reasonable.
beyond that...if you're buying this car you're not leasing it. And if you trade you're car in.......for the most part....you're getting ripped off.

the car has been driven. I don't think we get extra value because we live in Ca.
Anyways, how you value your car depends on your needs. If you plan to drive
the car until it dies, doesn't matter how many miles you drive. If you plan to sell
the car after a few years of ownership, then total miles is a factor.
So a 2 year old car with 41K miles and some extras is worth equal or more than a
brand new model of the same car? Doesn't really matter to me since I'm not buying
it. Again the person that eventually does buy might think it's a great deal!

I love my car. I plan to drive it til it dies. Or until I decide to drop a new motor in it then I'll drive it some more. haaa.
And I always have fun...I drive to much to not love it. Love driving.
oh...and that car is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced.
I'd say it's worth more like $18k.
as we all know...extras aren't worth crap on cars unless you find the right buyer. Guy could probably strip it down to stock and get exactly the same amount of money he's gonna get for it with the parts.
either way...he's way way overpriced. BB might say it's worth $22k but that doesn't make it so. Resale value in the bay area is down.

I think it's safe to say the following:
1) The car is grossly overpriced.
2) The horsepower numbers are false.
3) The owner is a n00b.
I'm going to try and get ahold of this guy tonight when I get home from work. He hasn't responded to my email yet, so that's going to be the only option. Which is too bad because I really want to send him a suggestion for his new license plate:
