Question Ok to use iPod shuffle w/ oem wrx 6 disc player?

I was thinking about using one of those tape deelys with the wire on it, put that in the tape deck of my 6 disc player and connect it to my iPod shuffle. I have Infinity speakers btw, would this cause any sort of damage since there will be 2 volumes to deal with?? (1 on the deck and the other on the iPod) Just making sure cause I don't wanna fubar up my stereo.

just make sure to put both VOL controls at th minimum.

then press play and start with the VOL control on the iPod. keep going up til you hit 70%.

then start to up the VOL on the car stereo...

oh lemme know if even at the minimum, the VOL on the iPod is still too "hot"....

there's an access from radio shack that has a VOL control that i used on my sirius to my car's tape player....

It should work fine I used to run my mp3 player to my stereo in my old car and did it in my gf's car as well. Just make SURE the volume is turned down all the way when you hit play.

I use my mini in my car all the time. I just set the mini's volume to half, and start with the car volume down low and lake it on up from there. No problems.

Dam I was gonna try out the tape adaptor in the car today but I could not find that thing for the life of me, been soo long since I last used it. So I went down to radio shack to get one but they wanted like $21.00 for it... so I was like pffft **** that, what a ripoff! I know my friend might have one but just in case anyone here have one lying around they don't need?

i'll try to look for one tonight. i dont need one anymore. you could always use a radio tuner, but all that wiring and the size of the tuner is way more than the shuffle haha... diminishing returns.

aux in rules.
