Redline 5w30 since 3750 miles. Now at 54K miles.

I used 10w40 last summer, I think it was too thick, didnt feel quite as responsive.

I use 15w30 and it's not very good.

You can get a good deal from Costco for like around 23 bux or something..

Is Mobil 1 cheaper at Walmart? I always buy mine from Costco and it seems to be a pretty decent deal. I switch mine from 5w30 to 10w30, but not on purpose. I sometimes forget what I am running and buy something different. I personally can't feel the difference. 5w30 is better for colder climates though.

If you're buying the individual quart bottles of M1, Costco is the way to go, but the 5 quart jugs at Walmart are the best (regular) prices anywhere, that I've seen. You can sometimes get better deals with coupons or sales from the chain stores like Kragen, Pep Boys, etc...

Mobil 1 is so much more common, just go to costco for a 6 quart box for something like $22.

The only place you can get it is Autozone... but not all of them. FD777 has a hitlist on BITOG of the ones he's been able to find them:

Costco raised it's prices to $27. Buy it at Walmart in the big jug. It's the cheapest going.
