oh hells yeah!

Back in the Bay, and it's great. If you see a BRP RS coupe with Hawaii plates, don't slam into me. It's been so so so right on to be back and I have only been here 2 days.

Anyone have good recommendations for insurance? I tried Progressive, GEICO and eSurance and all are around $900/6mo for just my RS with me and my g/f. Both of us have perfect driving records.

Looking for a place to live, cheap insurance and a silver OBS.

Welcome back wombat, I recently moved my insurance over to Liberty Mutual, but with my 2 cars and still one ticket haging out from a couple years ago, my rates aren't much better than what you've been quoted, and my homeowners policy is with them too.

wombat, welcome back! I recently switched over to Farmers' Insurance (from 21st Century for the lower rate) for little over 600 for 6 months with 00RS and 98Protege. No tickets for the past 4 years, multi car discount, multi policy (home), good driver, and group discount (engineer). Good luck!

Welcome back man!!

I've been with Mercury for awhile. I've never had any issues with them. But i'm sure places like Gieco would be cheaper.

Thanks for the tips - I will give them a try. I might end up back with Progressive since they were marginally cheaper, and always good to me (10 years with them).

Anyone recommend a good exhaust shop? I want a new cat pipe and midpipe w/ resonator made. Prefer peninsula or as south as santa clara.. TIA!

Also thanks for the welcome! I missed the Bay bigtime. Reid how's the car?

hey if you dont mind an hour or more drive to Santa Rosa, there is a shop here called A1 mufflers, the guy does amazing work, he quoted a custom plasma cut flange with mandrel bent piping turboback exhaust with a magna flow muffler for 550 bucks! and he gets awards for his work.. i highly reccomend him Gary Geving.. his shop is good stuff.. 707-586-6691 if you are interested.

costco insurance provider, Ameriprise, has good deals on insurance. Might be worth signing up to be a costco member! Cheep oil, massive amounts of EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME!

Thanks! I might be there working safety on the 21st. I need to do some work on my car before getting on the track as I left my track car (Celica) in HI, but we'll see. I need to get some SS brake lines and bleed/flush at the least. Itchin to get back on the track...

I'm a Costco member so I will check that out. Hawaii was cool, but will be better when I am older.. If my g/f starts hitting stuff with my Suby I will need to put the USDM bumper back on. Crap.
