Landmark Oakland Cookie Company Closes
OAKLAND (AP) ― An Oakland cookie company has closed its doors for good.

After operating in Oakland for 92 years, Mother's Cookies shut down when its parent company filed for bankruptcy protection this week.

Plant officials told workers that operations would cease and cookies would no longer be made at the plant.

In filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, company officials cited rising prices for raw materials and fuel.

The closure comes after Mother's had shifted its baking and distribution operations to plants in Ohio and Canada in 2006.

 

Didn't Oakland lose another cookie bakery last year?

 

They closed their oakland branch a while back and moved everything to canada and Ohio?

If you get a bag of 4th of July cookies, only eat the red and blue ones and your poo turns green...true story, i've tested it multiple occasions.
Drink milk with them, since thats a variable i've yet to rule out...since you cant eat them w/o milk duh.
