Just what the topic says.

Matt AKA Sonicsuby started the last Sacramento meet in the Natomas Mini-mall off the Truxel exit off I80. As most of you know the turn-out was great at about 35+ people/25+ cars.

I want to start a weekly meet for the Sacramento Area in a 'not so busy' parking lot. Nasioc has a thread that mentions WHITNEY'S JOLLY KONE as seen here:

Unfortunately it's not open on weekends acording to the article. We can settle the location in another poll if you guys think this place ins't such a good idea. I just want to get a set DAY from you guys on when we should meet.

I want to keep the meet time around 7pm till whenever the last person leaves. I figure 7pm is a good time seeing how most of us get off work around 5pm-ish.

Once this poll ends (Friday at 4pm) we can start another poll on WHERE we can meet.

Does this sound fair? I personally want to meet on Saturdays because of the post-meet freedom... we could go for a drive or meet at a bar/club etc etc.

I only posted 5days out of the week because that's the maximum# of options.

EDIT: In the meantime post places where you'd want to meet on this thread that's good for everyone in the surrounding area's (like of I80... that way people from RENO and the BAY AREA can make it easier)

Once the time has been set I'll post a POLL of places to meet. Then I'll ask a Mod for a STICKY once everything is final.

This way we'll know when/where the weekly meets are so if you can make it GREAT. If not, no harm no foul maybe next week(s)

 

OH man ... that's the ghetto part of Natomas ...

 

But that location isn't set in stone. Post ideas of where you'd want to meet while you vote on a time.

I vote for sat eve's , with the exception of our bbq days.
AND

we will be at a new shop for the next bbq, should accomodate the event much better

 

Friday. I only have friday and tuesdays off since im starting school up this next week and will work sat-mon.

 

anywhere in Sac is fine for me, but not on weekend for me

 

Well so far Saturday is in the lead followed by Thursday in a close second.

Damn, i feel bad for those that can't make it on a weekend. Maybe more people need to vote for Thursday.

Of course this is just an idea for a weekly meet. nothing final as you all know.

 

I'm definitally down for Saturday evening meets. I agree that it, for most people, Sat. should be the most stress-free time of the week with no work the next day. Hopefully we can all agree on a good time and place and get a regular meet going.

 

there's a parking lot with a togos/baskin robins about a mile up from the walmart on Truxel. I think we should meet there, I'm going to grab the address....

 

I thought about that when we met out there last week. it's not so busy there either. Good call

not for me tomorrow... i have to go to SF...

 

where is the auto x at? I don't think I want to run the cavy though

We'll see how this saturday's meet goes at the Togo's off the Truxel exit.

If all goes well maybe we can get a Sticky such as Togo's 6pm Saturday or something to that extent.
