They overpaid, yes, but dude is a class act, he gives you 100% every time he runs, he's extremely durable, and a good clubhouse guy. If they lost him to free agency, they wouldn't have anybody else decent to play RF.

Plus he gave the Giants a walkoff single to win the game today
