Hello guys and girls.
It’s that time of year again…July 23rd, at 11:30am, the 6th annual Mt. Hamilton meet! (God, I can’t believe it’s been 6 years). Every year it gets bigger and bigger… It started out with about 22 of us meeting at the observatory and talking about cars back in 2000… Man, it has come a long way. It’s sort of like my child in a sense… ha ha. Anyway, This year is going to be BIG! You know why? Because we have awesome m’ fing vendors that help sponsor this event and give us choices and such… Back in the day there wasn’t such as thing, boy am I glad things have changed. Also, this year Subaru of America will be present with their trailer and will be giving away free swag (sp?)!
There will be a raffle (don’t know what yet), entertainment (Music, possibly a boxing ring or something of that nature). There will be an exhaust showdown, etc, etc… Prizes, tons of food and drinks for all. You guys know how it works.
I’ll try to work something out with the rangers with parking… to see if you can pre-pay, or if they can just collect the dough quickly to avoid lines at the gates. Last year that was a royal PITA.
Anyway, we’re going to do the standard $10 a head… and kids are free of course. I think this is fair. This is a big *** undertaking, as you all know.
Food is going to be abundant and high quality as always… I wont skimp on ANYTHING. (Except for water, Costco brand water > Name brand)
I’d really appreciate it if you would pay me in advance so that I can buy all the stuff that is needed and not tap into my own funds. (which has happened in the past, and it sucks).
When you pay, Please add your screen name, real name, and how many are attending. I will add you to the list and you will get a stamp once you arrive at the event showing that you paid.
Lets make it a year to remember guys!
