Official Mt. Hamilton meet CARAVAN thread (work in progress)

Directions direct from Elk Grove Dorifto is going to get together a meet fro people who want to join the Fairfield caravan, but this is faster for everybody south of the I-5/50/99 junction. This caravan may or may not break off at Lodi and cut across 12 and 4 to meet the others up in Concord, that's TBD.

The next farthest jump-off point is going to be the In 'N Out in Fairfield, where the Solano county meets are. Very easy to get on and off the freeway here and lots of people know where it is. We will leave there at 9 AM (tentative) to join the Concord Krispy Kreme caravan, which will be leaving its location 10-15 minutes after the FF caravan gets there, should be about 9:45. I'll edit this to include more details soon.

Also, has anyone finalized the North Bay caravan yet? I assume that you will also be meeting us in Concord, since Fairfield is backtracking and we aren't stopping in Vallejo.

There will likely be one more stopping point between Concord and the park. Suggestions for locating this welcome. It needs to be a place that will hold plenty of cars at 11 AM or so, and very easy to get on to and off of the freeway.Seems that this meet point will either be in Dublin to meet up with the south Sac caravan, or at D&B's in Milpitas.

Is there any reason why we need to have another stop between concord and the park?

I thought we're trying to arrive at the park on time...

Concord is still a good ways from the park, plus the South Sac caravan is coming across, unless they go a little bit out of the way to meet us in Concord. There will be plenty of people to join in between Concord and Dublin or Milpitas.

What time do you expect to be at the park? Me I would like to be there alot sooner. Like keave in'n'out at 8:30 arrive at concord at 9:00-9:15 then at 9:30 -9:45 go directley to the park.
I like what Dahveed said maybe I-Clubers along the way just sit on the side of the freeway and join in as we pass them by.

PS if you dont like this then at least look at the concord leave time 10:30 thats like 1 hour of SIT time if we leave FF at 9:00
it only takes 30 min. to get to con.

Just my 2 c.
peace Miguel

The more of those, the better. Set channels everytime we leave from a meet point.

Miguel, you are right. We need to be leaving Concord at more like 9:45, or 10-15 minutes after the FF caravan gets there.

yeah I definately agree w/Miguel. I don't mind us joining another caravan between concord and the park, but I sure as hell don't want to get out of my car and shoot the $hit in yet another parking lot....I want to get to the park on time!

If we are meeting up with another caravan, then we all pull in to a parking lot, and then they immediately follow us, no BS time! Either that or they are on the side of the freeway waiting for us to pass by....

Yeah, this is probably what will happen as we neet up with other caravans past concord. Depends on what time we are actually running. We need to give Dan and his lackeys enough time to get everything set up. He said the party starts around noon, so we shouldn't show up much before then.

I want to leave on time (10:15 departing Concord), and I don't want to waste time BSing in parking lots on the way...I also wouldn't mind lending a hand to the Hammy crew when we get there...

Well I dont think Dan would frown on some xtra help.
Plus if we get there earlyer then we get all the good parking spots and we pick are butt parking spots too. And the best is theres more drinking time for us which means more FREE BEER
Plus this way I can try to kiss some *** and try to get a great deal from a vendor or two no shame for cheap parts
