the Official Help Get Huck Back His Avatar fund
I need help folks and you're the only ones that can get me through this...
You remember not too long ago when all it took to get an avatar was 1500 posts. Nothing a few overzealous posts couldn't get me to. A few tactical "+1"s and some quality time in Puerto Rico and BLAM a new avatar in no time. Nothing a little hard work couldn't achieve. And isnt this what our country, and dare I say, our club is based upon? Hard work, helping our brothers and sisters in times of need....
And then it all fell apart. There was outrage in the streets. There was talk of mutiny. Talk of decal removal. Name calling. I-club was in chaos. I couldn't take it anymore. And yet, I somehow felt responsible. So, in an act of solidarity, I turned off my avatar. I figured everything would get sorted out soon enough and the masses would re-unite. And lo and behold they did. I knew I'd done my part and now that the waters were calm I went to turn my avatar back on. WTF?! I can't. The rules have changed!
"If you have more than 100000 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar."
But being the kind, benevolent higher being that he is, Alex took it upon himself to let the people that had already attained Avatar status to keep their icon. People that had worked just as hard as myself. But what about poor uninformed and, at the time, un-icon-ed me?
I was left out in the cold. With no avatar to call my own. <shiver> Lost in the streets with nowhere to turn.
My only other choice is to somehow raise the ungodly amount of 1750 Scooby Snacks. So I'm taking my case to the people. My Suby brothers and sisters. MY digital friends and family. My dancing banana brethren!
I turn to you, please, donate me your extra scooby snacks. Help me get back on the road to righteousness. Help me get my avatar, friend.
