At least Beltran is out because of his wrist, and not his knee. Plus it's only day to day.


I'm liking our schedule this month though. We have an easy (on paper) schedule. A great time to turn it around, get back on track, and have fun.

No suspensions for Ramirez or Whiteside, but they get fined an undisclosed amount. Victorino gets 3 game suspension, Polanco gets fined undisclosed amount.

 

He's appealing it and will get at least one of those games removed. If Whiteside doesn't get a suspension at some point, then that's BS.

 

He got the suspension for pushing the umpire a couple times.

 

And Whiteside should get one for attacking Polanco. It's only fair. But I'm sure he'll only up with a one maybe 2 game after the appeal.

 

Wasn't really an attack. He tried to tackle Polanco and failed. Polanco only fell to the ground once the rest of the Phillies tried to push Whiteside off. He could've punched Polanco as he was running toward him, but he didn't.

 

I don't think that matters that much. He made contact, a weak attempt, but still initiated contact.

 

Haha we talked about this, that was the weakest attempt at a takedown, probably didn't suspend him because they felt bad for whiteside for embarrassing himself haha

Sidenote I'm flying to ny in an hour and have connecting flight out of philly, gonna be there for an hour or so, forgot my giants gear haha

The hatred for the Giants in Philly is nearing the hatred for New York teams from what I hear on the philly radio.
