Good to hear. I have family in Austin so this is a huge plus. Otherwise i couldn't afford the additional hotel+rental car costs.
We've got general admission tix the day they went on pre-sale. Austin + F1 should be a freaking blast. I hope my 18-200mm lens is up to the task.

You'll have a blast. I was there last year and the facilities weren't totally built yet. Did you get general admission or seats? Where are you staying?
I was at Turn 9 Bleachers and if I was to do it again, I would sit there again. You're able to see them come down T9 and get setup for the pass down the long straight plus the sun is behind you for the race. Like everyone always say, the braking is what amazes. We were hanging out by Turn 11 during practice. Through a small gap we were only able to see the 100m board. Cars were going past that before they got on the brakes for T11. My mind was blown watching cars go through T3-T6. I've seen other race series in person, but the amount of grip and braking a Formula 1 car has is just different. Hell even HRT looks fast in person, but you are able to tell they lack a lot of cornering speed. Yea, I was quite excited. If the hotels prices weren't so expensive, I would be going again.

The medical wagon looks fast in person too.
