Additional gold stars for Steve for the pix. Some pix can't afford photos taken with a zillion dollar soul capturer.
lol thanks for the golden stars!

For those that want a cd with several hundreds of photos from the event, I am going to take orders starting now and start shipping them this up coming Tuesday. You can order prints using your cd from your local photo lab or shutterfly/whatever online site you prefer

I just want you guys to have pictures of the event and am not trying to make money off of it, just trying to cover shipping the cds out.

The price will be $5 paid via paypal to wrxtunerd@gmail.com or by mailing me $5 if you don't have paypal. Mail to:

There was also a guy who expressed interest in a STi TMIC. Let me know if you're still interested.

Video Footage

In speaking of video footage...I have a lot of in car footage from my car and some outside footage down the front straight.

The bad thing about the in car footage is that it was very very windy, since we had to have our window's down.

For the front straight...I got from what I can remember: Adam, Grey GC, Evo X, Black STi w/ EWG, some blue STi's, Adam and Adam again (Your car sounds like a freakin jet.) LOL.

I'll try to get the footage captured when I can. Maybe I will start this week.

Sweet - I would really like to see anything at all of my car if you can get it captured. Let me know if you need somewhere to host it and I can make you an FTP account. I was in the silver MR2.

Also I used to use Adobe Premier just because that is what I was used to using but for making a simple vid Windows Movie Maker is seriously easy peasy and even detected and was able to control my camera.

Ahhh you...haha.

Yeah, you passed me up. I believe I have footage of you where I am on your butt down the front straight, then you just pull away from me in the turns....I'm a noob and still learning. I am sure you remember me. I was the only yellow car besides the Corvette. =)

Yep - I remember your car - it looked really nice!

I have been doing this since 1999 and I would never say I have stopped learning - I learned soooo much out there that track day! My car weighs arouns 1000lbs less than yours so don't let it get you down, it's no drag racer w/ a pretty stock Corolla 1.8L but it does hang on in the turns - you can see me bracing myself in some of the pics - that was so I would stay in my seat.

Smile Video Footage

Here is the video everyone. Created by: Darrell (Stock Black STi)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd3YTRyv07c

For some reason the video editing software didn't capture Adam's flybys and many others. I am going to take a look at the raw footage and create a little compilation of all the flybys that were recorded. If you are bored watching me drive you can fast forward to a couple fly bys on the front straight @ 5:40ish.

Enjoy!

I'm stoked to see any pics or vids of my car since I will be putting it up for sale pretty soon. Gonna miss it loads, this little car has been one of my favorites and I will definitely own one again some day. All it needs is a roll bar, some r-comp tires and some new brake pads/lines and it would be an extremely fun/reliable track toy for years. I used 3/4 tank of 87 octane out there all day too...
