This totally depends on the ding or dent, and coming from someone who grew up around body shops I was flatly surprised when I watched Justin work the first couple dents out of my WRX and some others that were far worse than mine. It's almost like a black art... If the paint is not OEM, damaged, or very old, things could be different...
