i would like to thank Greg for putting together a great event and dealing with me and the car show stuff. big thanks to all volunteers who help set up and tear down, also a huge thanks to those of you the jumped in and help cook last second. lastly a huge thank you to all of our venders with out you all of this would not be possible so a big thanks to ed from EQ Tuning, paul from DB Tuned, adam and noah from LIC Motorsports, the guys from FLI, the crew from MANN Engineering, leo from Detail Addict for donating the car show prizes, a big thank you to Primitive racing for coming all the way down to give rides in your roll over sim. and last but not least Matthew Basile Photography, and Essence of imagery. thank you everyone for making this a great event can't wait to do it again next year
Thanks to everyone who put on a volunteer event, with relatively low ticket prices, and profits going to charity (Red Cross).
I was really surprised, and disappointed with some aspects. I'd love to give some feedback, but I don't want to "threadcrap" here. If someone wants the feedback, let me know where to send it. Given the ticket prices, volunteer nature, profits going to charity, I think the outcome was pretty good overall... just some things that would've helped me to enjoy it a lot more. (Yes, volume of music inside the hangar was a big one. And I _like_ my music loud; this was excessive.)
Anyways, thanks to vendors for supporting the raffle, thanks to people for showing off their cars, and thanks to all the volunteers for your time, efforts and resources.

It really was a great event - thanks again to all the people who put in a lot of work to make ti happen.
there was not 1 other car that looked 'stock' but was obviously not stock - and THAT is a beautiful thing!

I could make up some bull**** story/reason as to why there was no shortblock this yr.
Put simply: I changed my mind after talking to some folks. Last time I provided a block, it turned into a giant cluster ****, the PG winner sold the block, then it was sold again, ever time it changed hands, the new owner would hit me up for build specs.
This time, I thought about mandating having the block installed by DB. Those polled didn't like that idea.
If this decision angers some, I'm sorry.

On a serious note... people seriously complained about mandating a free motor be installed by its builds? Wtf?
