I had so many feels this game.....figured it would be a hawks victory since it was a home game, but jebus....

 

Eh, 49ers dline and oline got rocked. 49ers do need to fix the running game. That's 2 games now that they didn't get the run going.

The dline was something else. It seemed like they couldn't absorb enough because the o-line and other blockers were able to get to the 2nd level and take out Willis/Bowman.

But yea, the injury bug definitely sucks. 49ers dodged most of it for 2 years, this year it looks pretty bad.

The biggest thing is that the 49ers were only down 12-3 and had a chance when it hit 4th quarter. That means the defense is fine, I could really care less. They were probably gassed by the time it hit the 4th quarter and turnover after turnover. Finally got grinded on.

The offense needs to get some good possessions and drives and get Gore chugging. Definitely inexcusable that guys couldn't get open or the run game wasn't working. If you can't move the ball or hurt yourself with the pick in the redzone and wipe even 3 points off the board when you're the away team, you definitely are going to have a hard time winning.

 

Anyone else see this 49er fans write to newspaper objecting to Seahawks loud stadium - CBSSports.com about fans complaing about the crowd noise in Seattle?

 

Fairly certain they pump in fake crowd noise in that stadium. Also its built to be loud. It is what it is.

 

Aldon Smith was arrested earlier this morning on a DUI charge. That is all.

Something tells me the niners are going to have a long tough season. Not what I was expecting going in to the year.

They are going to have to make some huge decisions over the next 10 months.

Gore needs a change of pace back that can carry more load... someone that can become the feature back... the future... None of the guys on staff are it.

I like James though... more so than hunter actually. Maybe they bring in another oregon guy in the draft and go for De'Anthony Thomas. Or gamble that they can fix Michael Dyer. Or go for a bigger back Ka'Deem Carey?

 

Hunter was doing very well before he got injured. I think he was getting 6ypc. I think we'll be fine at RB, its the offensive line that becomes a liability at times.

Can't really judge the RB situation off these two games. Kaep threw for 400 yards first game and second game the entire O line was a turnstile. I'm sure we'll get back to our roots of being a run heavy team.

Another thing to keep in mind was that Gores production the last few years was a direct result of having Alex Qbing for us. Hes doing the same exact thing with Jamaal Charles now.

Niners D just ain't the same. Then colts ran well, they converted 3rd downs well.

I couldn't tell, but what happened to the Niners offense? I saw lots of 3rd and outs.

And penalties. Lots of helmet hits, you could really hear it. Nuts!
