Official 2010 NFL Draft for Raiders & 49ers!

Yea, I'm hyper cuz anything with the NFL beats all other sports. Baseball to me is boring, Hockey is somewhat entertaining, Basketball is bleh, Golf got a little upper from Tiger's return..

Anywho, I think the 49ers select a DB, DL, or OT first round. 49ers have offensive weapons at every spot already, just need someone to protect the QB. 49ers need help pass rushing big time, and I think they draft a corner back. Safety spot looks good with Goldwin (he stepped it up last year).

As for the Raiders, Al Davis is in charge and he'll draft some other speedy person for no apparent reason. Maybe an o-lineman.. but seriously with all the protection Russell will have, he'll still throw interceptions.

I think Russel l will do better once he reaches 300 lbs, he's almost there. That should make him harder to tackle right?

And Safety is still a huge concern.

I think he is just playing the wrong position. Maybe he should have been a tight end......Seriously though I think he's 3rd string behind gradkowski and fry.

Its sad Because Grad actually wants to play and he hussles. I would really like to see him start.

I like a okung, bulaga, and trent williams, but none will be there at 13 most likely. Ideally I'd like haden/spiller, or haden/thomas (spiller could go at 14 if he doesn't at 13) or spiller/thomas (if haden is gone), or even dan williams or iupati wouldn't make me too sad. Davis is fat and doesn't care. The ideal in my opinion would be haden and spiller, trade 2nd rounder for gaither in Baltimore, draft a LG or safety in rd 3/4 like jon jerry or myron rolle, small school rush LB or ted LB (brandon spikes since he'll plummet due to speed?), DB/PR/KR depth in 6/7, convert clements to a safety, and make the playoffs.

i really don't want to watch the draft because last year made me go over the edge. Lets just hope they don't draft based on the combine alone or that Al Davis dies before the draft. I want to actually see some wins for once....

Word. Passing on crabtree is going to be one of the worst draft moves in raider history. I was so pissed.

As if Russell could get the ball to him anyway.

Umm. Raiders dont make players. Heyward-Bey is a nobody. Harvin became a star with Farve. Farve just makes stars. Rice was a nobody too until Farve arrived. If the Raiders dont have a QB, the receivers will never look good.

Crabtree looked awesome because at least Smith could get him the ball in a spot where he could also make a play afterwards. If it's Russell, just hope it's anywhere near the vicinity and that you dont have to take a huge hit for it.

49ers picked up Miami's former 9th over all pick in 2007, Ted Ginns WR for a 5th round draft pick. I think this finishes up the weapons for the 49ers. It's great that he is a young guy, too. Crabtree the main skilled guy. Ginn as the speedster. Davis as a force and Gore as the running back.

49ers should be focusing on the DTs and DBs for sure. A lot of good DTs out there this draft, hope somethin' comes up.

Since this thread popped up again, for anyone that still gives a rat's *** about the Raiders, they signed former Ravens/Rams qb Kyle Boller.

Russell and Gradkowski will be competing for the starting spot (as if that were even a competition). Boller will stay as a backup along with Frye.

Another small note, Gradkowski tore a pectoral muscle while bench pressing this week. He's in surgery today and expected to recover in about a month.

That guy needs more stretching time, can't have him keep tearing ligaments and muscles, we need Bruce!
