Looks like it is finally letting up... The roads are HELLA slippery! I hit a slick spot, slid a little and almost got a little too intimate with a guardrail this morning when I was on my lunch break.

I really, really, really, really, really hope it starts raining again. Did I mention I'd like it to rain again today?

On my way to HMB yesterday, saw an M3 that had side swiped a tree and parked up on the island. This was near Smith St. and Union City Blvd. yesterday around 5pm. It was a middle eastern driver in his early/mid 20's maybe.

Too much power I guess.

Also, spotted a couple of Subies on the San Mateo Bridge.

Great rain! We got like 3" in Elk Grove. The yard is happy. Didn't lose any trees.

We got cut loose early from work and my wife asked me to pick up something from the grocery store on the way home. Got home went to check to see how the backyard was draining (we have issues sometimes with these crazy storms). It is POURING and I'm almost getting knocked over by the wind gusts. I go back inside and my wife asks me to go back out to the store.

"Are you ****ing kidding me? Have you looked outside?!?!?!?!"

I saw two roll over accidents on highway one yesterday and another spin out right next to my drive way. Was pretty gnarly in SC.

My brother managed to avoid getting evacuated from up Eureka Canyon but I think it was a combo of him being on the very top and them being mountain folk.... I.D. off the grid. haaaaa.
