OBDII Scan Tool and JDM ECU - Check Engine Light on
I have the feeling the answer is going to be no, before I take it in to someone. But just wanted to ask if you can pull a code off a JDM ecu with the OBDII scan tool?

K thanks. From my research before hand. I know "JDM Ecu" come OBDII ready, but not compliant. So wanted to see if someone had some more info on that. I may bring it in to FLI

yes a OBDII scan tool will work on it
*JDM ECU's just dont have all the monitors that USDM ECU's do, so thats why they won't pass smog but has no bearing on reading CEL's
