OBD 1 swap rules
I've been having almost daily discussions with MonsterGC about the possible future of the E-Dirty. He is convincing me to do a 2JZ-GTE/6sp swap in it. Is the rules for engine swaps in an OBD1 car different from OBD2? Meaning it doesnt have to be the same manufacturer? Kinda like street legal LSx FD's?

Highly doubtful since an LS swap is almost legal in anything. Can't see why your idea wouldn't be.
