Seriously... if you're gonna stand in front of the camera and spout something off as news (and perceived as fact)... do some research.

My cousin does the events up there and yeah a lot of these guys (me included) went through the street racing phase and most people can't afford track time to hone their drifting skills so they do it on the street but it has nothing to do with that oaktown B.S.!
