140k miles on the original cat, it's probably clogged from other stuff. The code was pulled at Capitol Subaru (great guys by the way! The Mechanic Christian is pretty cool to talk to about cars) I know it has some issues, but I'm not prepared to spend a lot of money on it yet - I'll drive it till it doesn't drive anymore or gets some horrid gas mileage.
Just doing inexpensive fixes to keep it running for another 2 years.

^^^ Will that actually work? I would think that Seafoam would wash away any coating on the substrate, thus, making my cat even less effective than before. But then again, I don't really know.
IF it is the CAT, and IF it is clogged, Seafoam will break loose the CARBON and crud that has built up. Your guess is as good as mine. I'd try it. WTF not, it can't make things any worse, or can it?

Have a P0420 code on the RS? if you do... Welcome to the GC world! a lot of us have that code. O2 extension can only help so much but it will be back on again eventually. if it bugs you... try resetting the ecu, but the CEL will eventually come back to haunt you.
