when I first moved into my house, and had a little house warming thing.. but not really, anyway, people came over and the neighbors were having a bbq at the same time out in front of their house... a friend of mine said there was a big rat on a stick and it was bbqed. and sure enough, it was. The people from Loas sure have a great appetite.

A New Mexico homeowner who caught a mouse in his house over the weekend tossed it into a pile of burning leaves to get rid of it. The critter dashed out of the fire with its fur burning and ran back to the man's house, setting it on fire. No one was hurt, but the home of 81-year-old Luciano Mares and everything in it was destroyed. Fires fanned by dry and windy conditions have charred more than 53,000 acres and destroyed 10 homes in southeastern New Mexico in recent weeks, so what was the guy doing burning leaves?
